I should have done that I as use no-IP myself. I put this on my list, but it will not be on this revision. I want to get the release out right away... It will be in the next beta series. Custom is a setting and it works with No-IP. Service type: DynDNS (Custom) Hostname: yourhost.no-ip.org Server: dynupdate.no-ip.com And add your username and password, and it works. I am not sure what you mean about "increase the wget command" however.

"DynDNS Custom" and "dynupdate.no-ip.com" works fine but adding no-ip would be nice for new people!

I am looking at it, but the presets are not in the php code, but built into ez-ipupdate. And the version we are on (3.0.11b8) is actually later that what is on sourceforge. (3.0.11b7) Now FreeBSD has some later versions, but backporting them and then customizing them... Sigh... This will not be done quickly. $ ez-ipupdate --version ez-ipupdate: - 3.0.11b8 - $Id: ez-ipupdate.c,v 1.48 2001/07/17 00:49:41 amackay Exp $

That could be dangerous, as the filesystem is in memory and very small. A few wgets and you will get "Disk Full" errors and crash. This is one reason why wget is not in the distribution. If you need to authenticate from a web app, it is best to use a computer behind the firewall.
But SmallWall works with most Dynamic DNS providers without that. Which one are you using?

And custom with members.3322.org or members.3322.net/dyndns/update does not work?
I have not tried this or even checked to see if it would parse, however.

I am not sure I understand what you are trying to say. But if you need more functionality, it may be best to do it on a server behind the firewall.

Ah! That is decidedly a niche case. Mostly all I have seen is CNAMEs to dynamic IP addresses.
