Hi, need you guys advise on how to do this as i can't find the right instructions from this forum and the documentation...
I am currently using my ISP provided D-link DIR-615 router + endian firewall, and going to replace both with single smallwall box.
I have PPPOE with static IP which i assigned to nic1 which working fine and my LAN is getting internet access. My internet service package comes with additional fixed public IP which i am trying to figure it out how to configure in smallwall but no luck.
This is my configuration: -
4 NICs in my smallwall box: nic1 : WAN - 123.123.123.123(sample IP) (connected using PPPOE with Static IP) nic2 : LAN - 192.168.0.1 (for LAN, working fine, all computers getting internet access) nic3 : DMZ - 192.168.1.1 (working fine) nic4 : WiFi - 192.168.2.1 (working fine, connecting to a wireless access point)
now, the additional fixed public IP says 123.123.123.124 which i am stuck on where and how to configure it so that later i can NAT port forward the request to the dmz.
My current DIR-615 router is configured with: -
- static PPPOE for .123 - "Unnumbered IP" for the .124 public IP - in my endian firewall nic i fixed this .124 IP and NAT is working fine.
Thanks in advanced.

in addition to it, if required i can add one more NIC to the box.

You should be able to just use the additional IP when PPPoE is up. (assuming it is in the same subnet) You just need a route for it. That would be in NAT, either 1 to 1 or server based.
